Happy Belated Thanksgiving

Hope everyone had a great holiday. I'm starting to get back on track after my oral surgery, trying to get off the pain meds and starting to eat chewier foods. Thanksgiving was odd for this very reason. This was the first time since I was a baby and couldn't chew that I did not eat turkey on Turkey Day. I was only able to eat mash potatoes, stuffing and the inside of the pumpkin pie...and still managed to stuff myself!

I sent in my final entry for the Golden Hearts, so I hope it makes it there before Friday. I'm really looking forward to Atlanta this year since it's on my side of the country and I won't have to fly, which, for those who don't know, I'm TERRIFIED of flying, so the 2006 RWA national conference will be stress free all the way around -- can't wait!

And great thing, now that I'm through revising the GH manuscript, I can finally return to writing my book! Things are looking up, people! :)

Hey Kelly! Sorry to hear you're still suffering, but glad to see you're getting back on track.

Good luck with your GH entry!

Happy writing...

Woohoo! Can't wait for RWA 2006! Are you going to RT? And I totally know what you mean about the flying! I have to medicate myself before I fly or I'll be like Gwyneth Paltrow in a View from the Top! (The scene where the plane takes off and she is running up and down the aisle screaming at the top of her lungs. LMAO!) Feel better!

I hear you, Shawn! They have yet to make a drug (and I've tried them all) that alleviates my anxiety on an airplane. Every time I wish I was like Mr. T from the A Team, and could just be completely knocked out by my friends and then wake up when I get there.

I'm not sure about RT yet. I know it's going to be a blast, though!

I SO hear you on the flying. This from the gal who took the train to Reno. :)
