Trying to finish this fantasy project I'm working on -- been writing like mad and have about 60% of it done. My goal is to finish by the end of this month, so posts will be sporadic!
Hope everyone is doing fine!

Spring is here!
Yee-gads, it's so pretty out! Yesterday was 80 degrees and today is the same. It's going to cool off this week but still Spring is here to stay. (Which means if you live in the South, it'll be over in a month or so and summer will be here.)
Gena Showalter wrote an interesting commentary on her blog about authors with the same ideas and concepts -- something, I think we all can relate to. Man, and do I ever sympathize...

BSG Rocks
Last night's episode left too many frackin' unanswered questions! And now we have to wait until frackin' October for the new season. What the frack is up with that? Love that show - (Battle Star Galactica if anyone is wondering what I'm talking about.)

Ooh la la
Don't know why - just felt like writing that. :D
My Hub bought me pearl earrings and a beautiful bracelet back from Hawaii. Shocked, I tell you. Shocked! Gorgeous gifts. Me happy. (He also brought me a skimpy back tank top with two Hula girls with fringy grass skirts placed strategically on each...well, you can probably guess!) I luv him. ;) But he's gone again, bummer. This month is a big travel month. Which is not a bad thing, b/c I'm writing like crazy anyway. So, I guess the point is - all is going well here at Casa Kelly.

See the Light!
...over at Shawn Monique's pre-published author Spotlight. I'm tooting my own horn, because I'm featured on this week's Spotlight! Please check it out. And a great big thank you to Shawn for thinking of me for her interview -- she's cool like that, you know... ;)

Woad Wage
K - so that was my Elmer Fudd impersonation. :D
I never toot the horn at people, and never flip folks off even if they deserve it, but I had a moment yesterday *sigh*. In a right hand turn lane, where you are allowed to turn if no one is coming, this woman just sat there. I was in a huge rush to make it to the bank on time, and she just wasn't going. So, horror-of-horrors, I tooted the horn at her. When she looked in her rear-view mirror, I made a little pointing jesture for her to turn. 'Course there were two other lanes of stopped vehicles next to us and everyone looked at me. Well, you guessed it! Chalked this up to another Kelly Moment. You see, sometime during the week, the road construction guys had re-assigned the lanes. It wasn't only a right hand turn lane for it also went straight. In my defense I couldn't see the straight arrow 'cause her car was on top of it. When I realized, I felt like an ass. And I'm sure all the other cars around me thought so too! Hmm, now I know why she jestured back to me a few times, lol!
Then, I come home and end up setting off every smoke alarm in my house. And how you might asked -- trying to make frozen chicken fingers! My oven hates me. :(
