Whose Line Is It Anyway?

This show cracks me up. Here's a past clip with Richard Simmons as guest. OMG. One of the funniest segments I have ever seen. http://www.squizzle.com/movieview.asp?id=2191

The Great Chocolate Battle

And, I won. Ha! I laugh in the face of temptation, of rich, creamy, chocolate. Yes, people, I have withstood Easter weekend without a single piece of chocolate. I thumbed my nose at sweet, chocy eggs and bunnies, at Nestle and Hershey. Yes, I reign victorious. Thy name is will power, hear me say nay. :)

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

I'm Still Here, Part Two

Feel like I'm always saying that lately. I have family in town all this week, and it's been a bit hectic here at Casa Kelly. And then Easter is coming, so I'll probably be away this weekend.

Good news is I'm polishing up a project and plugging away at another. One of these days I'll get back on my regualr schedule...until then, Happy Easter everyone!

Sherrilyn Kenyon's Rejections

I love this woman. She is such an inspiration. On Ash's blog, she shares actual rejections of two of her novels, the ones we now know as Fantasy Lover and Night Pleasures. Just reading over them and hearing my own rejections echo in the words of the editors that passed on SK's books, just enforces my persistance and hope. You guys have got to read them.

Spring Break...Done

Wow. So I went on my first ever trip to Disney World. It's truly an amazing place. Had a blast with my daughter whose favorite thing was having her entire face painted like a butterfly. The Animal Kingdom rocked - loved the safari ride. The animals were roaming free, and I literally could've reached out from the truck and touched the rear-end of a rhino. 'Course the park ranger probably would've shot me or somethin', so I behaved myself. But it was cool. We got to ride the Expedition Everest rollercoaster, which is brand new.

This is one of those trips, however, that I would (or could) not do on a regular vacation basis. I was on my feet for six to ten hours, three days in a row. Give me a beach house on the sand and a week to do absolutely nothing if I choose, and that is my kind of vacation!

Hope everyone is doing fabulous. I have a lot of catching up to do!
