Auto correct

I love the auto correct feature in Word.  I particularly like the fact that I can go in and list my own most commonly misspelled words and make Word correct them as I misspell them.  So words like:

Cahrlie - Charlie
seh - she
didn;t - didn't
brun - burn
herat - heart

So, whenever I do a spellcheck and notice a word that I consistently misspell (not b/c I can't spell, but b/c I'm typing so dang fast), I just make a note of the word and then go into auto correct and add it to my list.  Auto correct has its own list, but being able to add to it is an enormous time saver.  And my list is long.   Just thought I'd share.  :)

And thanks for the feel better wishes!

Yay! You're better if you're auto correcting words :)

I've been hitting my stride and writing like a demon. It makes me feel accomplished even though I'm only a third of the way done. Oh well, it's the working that counts. Personally, I hate my auto correct sometimes. It often changes the correct word to something totally different...oh well, I'll just have to learn to live with it. Happy writing!

I need to do that. But I also love the squiggly underlines. Microsoft Word finally taught me how to spell the word "separate".

"separate" There is a rat in the middle. ;) That's how I learned that one.
