In the home stretch

Just a quickie. . . In the final stages of my revisions. Hope to be done by tomorrow evening. But, if not, I'll be finishing up over the weekend.

I think I could revise this thing forever. There will always be a word I could change here, a sentence there . . . I'm feeling a little anxious about turning it in, and hoping my editor likes what I've done. But the good thing is, I like it. In fact, I'm pretty damn happy with what I've done.

Off to work some more . . .

Kel, stop obsessing! You're amazing and I'm sure it's fine! Turn it in woman! :)

<3!

How's that for some encouragement? ;)

Yes, go! You can only polish it so much before you start flaking away the paint!

Aw, thanks Beck. :D I shall be turning it in on Monday...

Okay, Matt, I love that saying. Hmm, maybe because I can totally see myself going overboard. Whatever the case, that'll be my mantra from here on out!

Good luck with getting it done, Kelly. And, oh yeah, I totally know what you mean. I could keep revising/editing a story forever...

Have a great weekend!

Good luck and congratulations on being so close to the end. I think most writers could easily revise forever - it's hard for us to say "good enough." But there is such a thing as a revision just changing things and not necessarily improving them! Of course, I'm being selfish, because I just really want to read your book. So get it out there!

Up until the very last day possible, I was editing! And I still have typos from when I turned in my changes and it wasn't done :(

I hope yours is perfect!

Yes, stop fiddling with it so that it can make the big splash that much sooner! I'm dying over here. I've tagged your blog for an award, so if you'll drop by my blog, you can see what all the fuss is about.

Oh, I can SO relate to this!

Congrats on finishing up.

Plus, you'll get another chance at it after it's bought, y'know?
