I don't know if any of you writers out there ever experience the 'time warp'. You know, when you just lived through 2 insane days with your characters, and then you get up to get something to drink and realize only two hours in real time has passed? Yet you feel like you just lived those 2 days? Is it just me? Am I losing my mind and need a physical therapist? :D
Anyway . . . Wrote an entire chapter yesterday, which came in at exactly twenty pages, and today I logged fifteen. I need about six more chapters and then the rough draft will be done. It's flying now, and I'm really digging what happened to Charlie yesterday and today. I don't think she's digging it, though, 'cus the last two days have been rough on her. ;-)

I know exactly what you mean ... and I wish those moments happened a lot more than they do. I suspect they are "a good sign."
I'm really enjoying your blog incidentally!
Thanks, Jonas. I believe you're right - time warps are a very good sign.
And welcome to the Blog-O-Sphere. :D
If it's been rough on her you're probably really onto something. ;)
I call that time-warpy thing "the rabbit hole".
You're inspiring. I need to get back to shooting out 20+ pages a day like I used to. I'm finding it hard to write without the mind wandering...
... thank you!
Ah, yes, the rabbit hole works quite well, too, Sue. ;-)
LOL. Thanks, Jax. Glad to inspire, though much of my page count is coming from deadline desperation. :D
