Weekend find

So I found this cute/creepy little doll at the flea market over the weekend, and bought her for a quarter. I think she was in a McDonald's Happy Meal. LOL. Her skin is more green than in the pic, so are her eyes, but she's very intriguing, and I like her. ;-)

Ever see the musical Wicked?

Reminds me of Elphaba -- the so called 'Wicked Witch'.

Unfortunately, I can't append to the comment sections, so I will email her to you.

Okay, you are so right, Mike. She looks like she could be the child of Elphaba! Thanks for the pic, too.

I'm creeped out. Remind me to tell you about the time we inherited a vintage doll that turned out to be possessed! LOL

Oooh, she's got a place in a story, for sure.

Yeah, I definitely need to hear that story, Jax.

Heather -- that's what I thought, too. She actually reminds me of one of the characters in my YA.

Hey, my friend is a stylist and she worked on this! It is indeed from McDonald's and is a Madame Alexander doll. (Uh, I don't know all this stuff but she is telling me as I type because I am hanging out with her right now.) LOL.

She had to curl her hair and style the clothes right, put them in position. She did all the styling for the photography in the Happy Meal ads.

What a strange coincidence.

Wow. Small world, huh? Tell your friend she did an incredible job! I love this little doll!
