Pancake brain

That's what it feels like, like all this pressure in my head has flattened my brain. Fun. Believe this is a sinus cold. I'm very close to being addicted to my Afrin.

Anyway, been filling out tax forms for the whole foreign rights deal. See, behind all good deal-type news is the complicated business stuff that makes you go 'Huh? WTH does that mean?' a hundred times in a three page form. :-) But, think I have it all figured out now, so once I get off here and put this baby in the mail, I can return to my other task of the day:

Young Adult line edits. Due next week. But, it's progressing nicely. Mainly just fixing sentence structure, addressing my editor's queries, word echoes, and other grammar oopsies. Did 83 pages yesterday, which was way more than I expected to get done. Once I'm at the end, though, I have to go back and address some comments I made to myself...

And that's about it folks. Kelly out.

Kelly-- I SO hear you on the sinus stuff. I had a sinus infection and then caught some other virus, so I've had a fuzzy head, congested ears and a cough. OMG, my husband put closed captioning on the TV as a joke and the kids just thought that was hysterical. I finally did a little writing but it's been a bad couple of weeks.

I hope your brain reinflates soon:)

LOL! Mine would have laughed about that too. Here's hoping you feel better soon. It's so hard to write when you're sick... :(

Selling foreign rights is worth the paperwork, lass - or at least tell that to yourself often enough until you believe it ;-)

Oh, I believe that now, LOL! Though, an accountant would be nice at times, for sure. :-)

Oh the sinus colds. I am working on getting over a sinus infection. When I was at my worst, and before, till I started feeling better I just couldn't think on anything straight. I understand the feeling. I hope you are feeling better.
